SkyFunzy's NorthEast Hot Air Balloon & Para-Motor Aero Fiesta 2023 is a collaborative of Khasia Ventures & Capt. Imochaoba Singh, the Man Who Owns the First Pilot License for Hot Air Ballooning, issued by DGCA, India.
Capt. IMOCHAOBA SINGH, is DGCA’s first Flight Instructor Rating holder in India, the only Trainer to train Indian Army & Navy. He represented India in many competitions and flying events, across the globe, ever since last 3 Decades, brings to his native place, a very New Adventurous Sports, Hot Air Balloon & Para-Motoring to North-East, at the Gem of NorthEast LOKTAK LAKE, Manipur, the sports state of India, having maximum numbers of Olympians. Spectators will witness a Mass Ascent of 5 balloons & 5 Para-Motors, at the Aero-Fiesta and marveled at many other flights made throughout the 7 days of Event.
The NorthEast Hot Air Balloon & Para-Motor Aero Fiesta 2023 will attracts over 200,000 visitors & more than a 10 million online viewers, over the seven days of the event. The Fiesta will become as much of an icon for NorthEast India.
ABOUT FIESTA ON 11 FEB- 17 FEB 2023
The fiesta will feature twice daily mass ascents featuring balloons taking off from a ballooning arena at the centre of the event site. Ballooning is very weather and wind dependent so the decision to fly is left to the last minute when the flying committee announce, whether it is safe for pilots to take to the skies. This jeopardy is a big part of ballooning and adds to the magic when we have perfect conditions to fly. But Balloon Tethering will keep all patrons high up to have a bird's eye view of the Loktak Lake and around most of the day.
The event also features Para-Motoring, an appearance in the area with balloons around throughout the weekend by expert team of pilots over the Loktak Lake.
The event also features two magical nightglows, when the balloons light up to a soundtrack provided by Manipur's Fusion Music.
The NorthEast Hot Air Balloon & Para-Motor Aero Fiesta Arena features entertainment throughout the weekend. Find your spot around the ballooning arena to catch daily displays, stunts and tethering, or head out to explore Food & Drinks Stalls and our 100 traders and activities from across Northeast for families and children of all ages. Don’t miss our acoustic bandstand (Rock-Show), jam-packed with local bands throughout the event, every evening.
